This book is for young children to realize that they can do things to make a person feel special. It shows how the child can gather things and make something out of it. It also demonstrates that they don’t need any money to give a gift. I really enjoyed this book because of the colorful pictures and young child will get their attention. I enjoy this story all the time I read it. The story shows the children that there is someone out there that truly cares. It also tells the children to listen and trust an adult. It shows the consequences if not obeyed. I would recommend this book to a teacher because it is a classic and also because it has sad and happy moments. The pictures in the book are also descriptive.

This book is a very good book for children to read. It describes the house having different emotions. It also educates the students in our four seasons throughout the year. It describes to a child how a city is compared to a country. I really enjoy how the pictures and colors changed in the book depending on the mood of the house. Children would enjoy this book because they can relate to the little house as themselves because they are also considered small.

I would recommend this book to a young teacher that wants to show the children about different habitats. This book is short and understandable so a young student won’t get bored easily. Kids can also relate to it when playing outside with friends and they notice the animals. Kids might become more sensitive to animals once they know they also have families and homes.

Every child can relate to this book because majority of the families react the same way. Children can feed back to the teachers about what each family does to prepare for a visit. They also did everything in their power to not let go of personal belonging that meant a lot to the family. The moral of the story is about trust, unity, believing and staying together to work things out. This book will show children that everyone has their good and bad times but at the end everything gets better. It also shows not to give up and continue trying to succeed.

In the last story it tells about a friend disappearing and the toad actually discontinued his enjoyment just to find his friend. Even though it was a dream it shows that the toad really appreciates his friend. This book also shows children encouragement and patience in order to accomplish something in life. It also gives examples of friendships on how they can rely on one another for help. The toad would go to the frog and vise versa.

This book gives a moral story about being different and still feeling very similar. This story explains that being different doesn’t mean being wrong. The birds accepted the bat and the bat accepted the birds. The young children will learn that being different is okay and acceptable. It also tells the children not to become judgmental about anyone.
